The Legend of Selters

My game "The Legend of Selters" was created with Bitsy Game Maker by Adam Le Doux and is based on the hero's journey model by Joseph Campell.

The main character is Lan, actually a normal boy who lives quite outside of everything. He actually lived with his father for a long time, but he died two years earlier. Lan's story explores the themes of loss, loneliness and fear. All of these factors mean that Lan cannot live up to the task he is given to keep the island's peace. On a mental journey into the deepest abysses of his soul, he has to face his greatest fears and repressed memories in order to emerge stronger.
